FOR MORE INFORMATION

If you have any questions on Counterpart Plus please email Pauline Sanderson or phone 0207 921 8425.

Every month, OTC magazine includes a number of educational articles to help pharmacy staff improve their knowledge and stay up to date. Staff signed up for the Counterpart Plus programme can test their knowledge and understanding of the articles published by submitting their answers via a telephone marking service. Results are provided immediately, and - subject to staff completing a minimum number of modules - certificates provided every six months.

Registrations for Counterpart Plus are on a per pharmacy basis, and the course runs from January to December each year. For a one-off fee of £60+VAT, up to five members of staff can take part in the 2010 Counterpart Plus training programme.

Modules in 2010 will cover the updates on relevant health conditions and OTC medicines, information on POM to P switches, and practical advice for all those who work on medicines counters.

As an incentive to encourage Counterpart Plus students to complete successfully a minimum one module per month, all those meeting this criterion will be entered into our monthly draw to receive £50 in shopping vouchers.
