What do I need to do?
C+D Training manages the registration, assessment and issuing of certificates to care home staff who successfully complete the course, freeing you to deliver effective face-to-face training.

The cost of the training resource pack is £60 (+ VAT). Additional student workbooks can be ordered at a cost of £15 (+ VAT) each. The cost of the student workbook includes assessment and certification.
The Medicines Management in Care Homes course is assessed via multiple choice questions, linked to an easy-to-use telephone marking service. The Medicines Management in Care Homes training course has been written by NHS Northwest Medicines Management Network, one of the UK's leading training teams in this area, and reviewed by pharmacists and others who have significant experience in developing and delivering training in medicines management.
Both tutors delivering the training and students have email and telephone access to support, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. What will i learn?
Basic training is essential before any member of staff working in a care home can administer medicines to people. This training course will provide care home staff with the knowledge and skills required to administer medicines safely within a care home setting.

Student registration form
All care home staff who undertake the Medicines Management in Care Homes course must be registered with C+D Training. The registration form can be photocopied from p14 of the tutor manual, or it can be downloaded here. This form should be completed and returned to C+D Training. Please note that students cannot be registered onto this course until a registration form has been completed and returned to C+D Training.
