C+D Training

C+D Training offers training courses and continuing professional development for pharmacists, pre-registration pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, dispensing assistants and counter staff.

The courses cover a variety of topics from OTC product knowledge to MUR accreditation and pharmacy management.

All courses aim to give students the knowledge and skills to provide effective patient and customer service in the pharmacy environment.

PharmTech - don't hang around...

Use PharmTech to train your pharmacy technicians. Rolling registration means you don't need to wait for April or September to come around.

With an e-portfolio to cut down on paperwork and drive up completion rates, PharmTech is competitively priced at £1,250 (+VAT) spread across two years.

There is a £180 rebate for students who have completed the Benchmark dispensing assistant course.

Counterpart still 'best value' for MCAs

Counterpart is a tried and tested GPhC-accredited course for medicine counter assistants.

As well as covering the basics required in every medicines counter assistant course, Counterpart includes modules on healthy living and pet medicines, presented in an engaging new design to help students learn.

The cost is £40 for the training modules and £40 per student on registration - making this a highly cost-effective training solution
Well Being for healthy living pharmacies

Well Being offers a distance learning course and face-to-face training to help create healthy living champions for your pharmacy.

Online assessment option
The healthy living champion assessment that pharmacy staff need to complete is now available online or as part of a training day.

Applied Level 2 Award
C+D Training is also now accredited to offer the Applied Level 2 Award, which adds practical skills to the knowledge gained from the Well Being programme.

Become an NVQ assessor

C+D Training's TAQA course is for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who want to become NVQ assessors.

TAQA is awarded by City & Guilds and is nationally recognised qualification to help train and develop others.

The course will provide a basic knowledge of assessment methods and develop practical skills in the assessment of NVQs and other qualifications.

Trainee assessors will have the opportunity to assess students on C+D's PharmTech course (and earn a rebate on the course fee for doing so!).
