Avicenna Dinner Dance Avicenna has celebrated reaching over 1,000 members with a celebratory dinner dance for board members, suppliers and members. CEO Salim Jetha said this was “a highpoint” in the group’s history, and he put the success down to the three way partnership between Avicenna, its members and the suppliers. “The ingredients of our success are many – we pride ourselves to be totally independent, owned by members and nobody else,” he explained. A major ingredient, Mr Jetha added, was the transparent and “ethical way we run our business”. Held at the Sheraton Skyline Hotel at Heathrow, the event saw attendees entertained by synchronized swimmers, a steel band and Bollywood dancers.
