As an independent chain in Birmingham we have fought with the PPD / PPA for changes some of which have come in place. But still when you have a declaration check (full month) we are not given information on exact drugs underpaid so if an expensive item query comes up we are unable to see if they paid in the declaration check. When PPA are asked they are also unable or refuse to give the information as they say they have not made a record of exact items. Over the last 2/3 years we have been repaid over £80,000 and some monies left pending.

Some prescriptions lost by PPA and we had copies of these which we supplied have not been paid since 2006/2007.
