Brilliant article! Its about time pharmacy leaders showed humility and took the grass roots to help define our future.

"Continue unchanged and fail to learn lessons, and you will continue to spiral down the tube and out of the healthcare arena, and the advancement of technology, robots, internet, and societal changes will lead us to a very different world."

Spot on. The whole profession is being manouvered slowly but surely into extinction unless there is a change of direction.

I think the root of the problem is that pharmacy is no longer under the control of pharmacist it is run by retailers who see short term gain because they have no interest in the actual profession, hence the only way to remedy the problem is limit the size and give rise to multiples!
