wants is the point of this free advert for Kirit Patel and Day Lewis? Why doesn't C & D speak to independants instead of a owner of a large pharmacy chain?

This is so typical of C&D. Journalism is about bringing debatable issues into a forum. This is just plain editorial advertising, as far as I am concerned. Shame on you C&D. This is why no longer subscribe to the magazine, its just plain advertising and media for chums!

I can only assume that Paul & Rajive don't know Kirit. He is a kind, generous, shrewd and knowledgable pharmacist who will make an ideal mentor and partner

As he admits on the video he has put in place at Day Lewis a succession policy that is so good that he's out of a job!

Like many of us of a certain age he's looking to see how he can put back something into the profession.

In this case Paul & Rajive your cynicism is without foundation. Well done Kirit

This issue is not about a critique on a man's character. I am sure Kirit may be all of those things you have pointed out, from your point of view. However, cut the glossing over, Barry, and your relationship with the man and discuss the proposition he is introducing. I would not recommend anyone giving up 50% of a business for the sake of being mentored by a "kind, generous, shrewd and knowledgeable pharmacist". To suggest that is nothing but nonsense.

If the dude is going to put up 70% of the initial capital, support with proven business acumen and take the risk then 50% is more than reasonable. You don't think he's gonna give you advice for free do you? This is a totally fair deal and Kirit is to be commended!
