As my wife suffers from this unfortunate disease, I am very conscious of the need for her medication to be taken regularly and on time. You are quite right Jonathan to point out how the community pharmacist can help Parkinson patients by always having a word with them whenever a prescription drug is supplied to them. Make sure you ,the community pharmacist is in contact with the local Parkinson nurse and so able to discuss with that fellow health professional any matters of concern about the patients wellbeing observed in those regular monthly interviews.
