The pharmacy in Tesco in Newport used to open later but stopped because of lack of use.

It's the case once again of the public being spoilt. We all managed before when there was no Sunday or late night shopping facilities. The big boys are creating a demand, not fulfilling it.

the pharmacy in the hoover building used to close at 10pm, after a survey of how many scripts/items were dispensed between 8.00pm- 10pm, the pharmacy stopped opearting beyond 8.00pm, because it was hardly busy that time of day and not worth it

GOOD!, more locum work for us! Who cares if we dispense nothing between 8-10pm, as long as Tesco pays a good locum rate!?

I am wondering why they would want to open at the point where folks are off to bed? Better yet to open at 7am to be of any use; I can't recall ever having to open up my CD cabinet past 9pm in over 30 years. And so statistically; what would be so important?
