Are drive-throughs good for pharmacy?

I agree with Mimi Lau.

I believe that it is hurry the patient (customer?) through, not the other way round.

Will the person at the Boots window be the pharmacist?
If not, then there will be a delay as the pharmacist is called.... and there will be a queue at the drive thru'.
This is a retrograde step for a profession.

Completely agree with everything said by Mimi.
This is an utter denigration of the profession.
Its all very well banging on about "robust systems" and customer satisfaction, blah blah
but how many "landlocked" pharmacies have we locumed in that have been an utter disaster - trying to do professional checks atop mountains of rubbish.
Fast food joints are well experienced at manufacturing scale assemblies.
This does not transfer safely to pharmacy.

Again in complete agreement with Mimi.
The length certain companies will go to increase their market share!
This drive thru concept and a prescription service using a hatch just undermines the profession.
Next we will probably see both prescriptions and fast food coming out of the same hatch.
