Scotland must ‘step up pace’ after payment overhaul

Scotland Pharmacists in Scotland will have to "step up the pace" following an overhaul of the country's pharmacy payments system, a contractor has warned.

Did I miss the change in GP payments also? To reflect engagement - or are we mainly producing care plans to sit in cyber space?

the chronic medication service could be brilliant for patients but as David McNaughton rightly observes CMS is not linked to QOF payments and therefore there has been no serious engagement from our GPs. The huge missed opportunity was to match the doctors contract to the pharmacists contract with shared or devolved care for long term conditions.
