I share your concern Mr Robinson. Pharmacists must be allowed to make nostrums for their patients. It is the skill of preparing medicines upon which our profession was founded. A nostrum has been prepared at this pharmacy for over 60years, with an exemplary safety record. Patients come from all around for it. Nostrums are one of the few things left which allow individualism and creativity to exist in independent pharmacies. I would strongly oppose any change in regulations that would force my patients to buy a mass produced branded product when they specifically request my nostrum.
