Nice proposes diabetes screening for over 25s

Clinical Pharmacists could be asked to screen all patients aged over 25 for type 2 diabetes under proposed guidelines from Nice.

If we are not careful there will be no appointments available for sick patients. It seems strange that an appointment can be available the next day for various screening tests but somebody with an acute condition has to wait three weeks?
This is what we sometimes now see in community pharmacies.
