If Lloyds Pharmacy were not obsessed with profiteering, unachievable KPIs and targets and supported their branches with more trained staff their workforce would be much happier, less stressed and would contribute more to the business and its success. Too many good people leave the business as their stress levels are at breaking point and have simply had enough. Lloyds Pharmacy are pioneers and innovative and have fantastic ideas. Unfortuntely they fall down as it is near impossible to do all that is asked with shockingly low staff levels and endless emails and action points required. The danger is that patents lifes are at risk if a dispensing error is made because of waiting time pressures and other endless jobs required and bulling style management tactics. Yes I did my 400 MURs as I had no choice but many in my professionally opinion were unworthy or rushed. It is near impossible to follow all the SOPs to the letter so you are not protected. PHARMACIST NEED BETTER SUPPORT, REPRESENTATION WITHIN THE COMPANY AND A UNION FIGUREHEAD. So please the powers that be at Lloyds Pharmacy make a difference and change your ways of practice.
