London pharmacist named in New Year Honours list

People Community pharmacist Lila Thakerar has received an MBE in the New Year Honours list for her services to the community in the London borough of Harrow.

A really well done to you Lila, and I extend that to every pharmacist out there. We are the true unsung heroes of the NHS. I'm just glad through the efforts of Ms Thakerar at least one of us has been recognised.
