Whilst I in no way condone this lady's actions it does appear that this GPhC may be more tolerant than the previous RPSGB panel who constantly seemed to approach matters in a heavy handed manner.It is fantastic to believe that we may have a committee composed of people who do not live in ivory towers and are looking to support fellow professionals through understanding that everyone may err and encouragement to correct such errors rather than display how onerously the professional is regulated by castigating even the mildest of offenders as the previous committee did.
For all I know the panel members may be the same but the more balanced judgements that are appearing are heartening to all in the profession for none of us know when despite are best attempts we may suffer like poor Mrs Lee or when our normal rational thought process may temporarily leave us
