C+D was the only title to take home two trophies from the Avicenna Media Awards on Friday (January 23).

Features editor Emma Weinbren received the award for Senior Writer of the Year and C+D was voted Editorial Team of the Year by the independent support group's members, suppliers and guests who attended the event at the British Medical Association’s headquarters in London.

It is the third year running that C+D has been voted winner of the latter award, with attendees invited to vote for the pharmacy media title that "best represents the pharmacy sector as a whole". Avicenna CEO Salim Jetha told the C+D team: "Clearly, those in the industry feel that your publication brings something extra to the world of pharmacy."

C+D editor Jennifer Richardson said the wins were testament to both the team's hard work and readers' support. "Thank you to everyone who voted for C+D - it means a lot," she added.
