A man has been charged with the armed robbery of a Leeds Lloydspharmacy team using an imitation gun and a knife.
A man entered Lloydspharmacy on Meanwood Road, Leeds at around 11.30am last Friday (February 20) and made off with a quantity of prescription drugs and cash after threatening staff with what appeared to be a handgun, West Yorkshire Police told C+D on Monday (February 23).
The police said a 31-year-old male had been arrested in connection with the incident and charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of possessing a knife and one count of possessing an imitation firearm. Another man had been arrested and released on bail pending further inquiries, it added.
