Manufacturer Sanofi has launched a new formulation of its Syndol pain relief tablets.

Syndol Headache Relief Tablets, which relaunched into pharmacies earlier this month, now contain a triple-action formula of paracetamol, codeine phosphate and caffeine and also have new-look packaging.

The tablets, which are suitable for adults and children over 12 years, also provide short-term relief from other acute pains including period pain, rheumatic pain and toothache, the manufacturer said.

The tablets are being supported by a digital and PR campaign as well as a new website, syndol.co.uk, which contains lifestyle tips on managing headache symptoms.

Syndol Headache Relief Tablets retail at £2.99 for a pack of 10 tablets and £5.99 for 30 tablets.
