Manufacturer Nutricia will use this year’s Pharmacy Show to help pharmacists engage with parents.

The company produces the Early Life Nutrition range – including the Cow & Gate and Aptamil baby formulas – and is inviting pharmacists to visit stand PK42 to receive free reading materials to help them start conversations about feeding infants.

Pharmacists attending the event at the NEC in Birmingham on October 18 who want to learn more about investing in early life nutrition should join the company at the public health and wellbeing forum at 11am, Nutricia said.

Pharmacy teams can play a “key role” in supporting parents and ensuring common infant feeding problems such as colic, reflux and constipation are “effectively managed in a community setting”, Nutricia added.
