Tena revamps male incontinence range
Tena says more men are buying incontinence pads
Manufacturer SCA has upgraded its range of Tena Men products for male incontinence to meet “growing demand”.
The range of three absorbent protectors for men have been improved by adding a “secure absorbtion zone” icon and a grey backsheet to make the products look “more masculine”, the manufacturer said.
Packaging for the products has also been upgraded by making it “even sleeker” and adding information about the products’ absorbent technology, it said. Tena’s research has shown that one in four men over 40 experience urine leakage, it added.
Tena’s training and brand manager Donna Wilson said it is encouraging that more men are buying their own products for urine leakage “rather than relying on their partner or turning to homemade solutions”.
Tena Men has an RRP of £4.49. Tena’s pharmacy helpline is 0870 333 0874
