Voltarol considers further exercise initiatives in 2017
Pain relief brand Voltarol is aiming to roll out further initiatives in 2017 to get the nation moving.
Voltarol manufacturer GSK partnered with the Mayor of London to fund the ‘Get Moving’ project, which ran in 2016 and promoted the health benefits of staying active in later life.
The campaign encouraged older Londoners to meet the government-recommended weekly levels of physical activity, GSK said.
Voltarol is an anti-inflammatory pain reliever, containing the active ingredient diclofenac. The range consists of topical gels and a patch.
Voltarol brand manager Charlotte Perry said the ‘Get Moving’ programme offered a “truly fresh approach” to improve the health of Londoners “no matter their age”.
“At Volterol we want to challenge people to think differently about their body pain and inspire them to take active care,” Ms Perry said.
