From Sir Norman Foster’s Gherkin to the iconic Wembley Stadium, great design is all around us. As the winners of this year’s Platinum Design Awards demonstrate – cutting edge design can be found pharmacies too. Hannah Flynn reports
The judges will decide on the top three entries. The prizes are as follows:
First prize - £3,000
Second prize - £2,000
Third prize - £1,000
PLUS Any entry from a company that has five pharmacies or more trading under a common corporate identity will automatically be entered for the Platinum Design Trophy for Multiple Pharmacies.
The Platinum Design Awards are open to independent and multiple pharmacies that have refitted an existing pharmacy or fitted out new premises between January 2008 and December 2009. Entries are welcomed from:
