Springboard

Pre-registration Training Programme

Springboard is a pre-registration programme offered by C+D in partnership with Medway School of Pharmacy. Springboard equips pre-registration students with the skills and confidence to ensure a smooth transition from pharmacy graduate to practicing pharmacist.

The Springboard pre-registration training programme consists of eight study days for students held at a central London location. The study days are facilitated and delivered by staff from C+D, Medway School of Pharmacy as well as expert speakers on specific topics. A variety of topics are covered, which enables students to meet the appropriate competencies in the RPSGB’s student handbook.

The Springboard course is unique in that by the end of the course the students will have also completed an accredited Medicines Use Review training programme, the C+D Counterpart Pharmacy Assistant Course and a Practice Certificate in Pharmacy Management.

Springboard also includes a training day for the pre-registration tutor.

Cost

The cost of Springboard is £1,500 (+ VAT) per student. This includes the student handbook and all course materials, eight student study days with refreshments, three accredited distance learning courses with certificates including Skills for MURs, first aid training, a personal tutor, access to online practice exam questions, tutor training day and tutor support handbook.
