Sponsored: GSK hits hayfever with £3.3m campaign

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has launched a £3.3 million media campaign to promote its Piri allergy brand.

The campaign will include a TV advert, appearing on screens this month, designed to promote the Pirinase Hayfever Relief for Adults 0.05% Nasal Spray by looking at “the science behind hayfever”, GSK said.

It will be followed by advertising support for Piriteze Allergy Tablets from May onwards, to coincide with the peak of hayfever season.

GSK marketing manager Andy Mahoney said it is vital to educate consumers to ensure they are using an effective treatment type.

“Pirinase treats all major hayfever symptoms; we want to make sure consumers are aware of this,” he added.
