Inhaler technique

Inhaler technique should be checked regularly at annual respiratory reviews or by the pharmacist.

As part of inhaler technique counselling, you should make patients aware that loose objects may not be visible in the inhaler and a thorough check of the inside of the mouthpiece should be made before inhaling a dose. The cover must be replaced
