You work as a relief pharmacist at a large pharmacy multiple. One of your jobs is to conduct a controlled drug (CD) balance check, including of the methadone solution.

You decide to measure the methadone solution balance before the shop opens, because there are less distractions, which will help ensure the balance is recorded accurately.

You measure the methadone as normal, pouring the solution from a part-opened bottle into a conical measure, and then make a note of the volume.
