A range of pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments are available for the management of the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. The potential benefits and harms of each treatment must be weighed against the patient’s lifestyle, preferences, needs and goals.
Pharmacological management of motor symptoms
Antiparkinsonian medicines should not be withdrawn abruptly or allowed to fail
