Uzma comes up to the counter, her husband Farhad trailing behind her. The couple, who are in their 70s, are known to you as they both get their prescriptions dispensed at your pharmacy.
“Go on, explain to the pharmacist what’s been going on,” Uzma snaps at Farhad.
Her husband sighs deeply, then with eyebrows raised as if in apology, says: “I don’t think it’s anything to worry about, but I’ve felt a bit lightheaded a couple of times, and…”
Uzma cuts in: “Nothing for you to worry about maybe, but when you’re lying on the floor because you can’t make it to the bathroom, how do you think I feel? And what if you break a bone or hit your head?
