Community pharmacist Bhupinder Malhi explains why advising parents on infant nutrition is "an opportunity pharmacies shouldn't miss"

A study published in the journal Digestive and Liver Diseases in 2005 found that half of infants will experience at least one digestive difficulty between the ages of six months and one year. So this is an area pharmacies "should have on their agenda", as they can "make a difference" – according to Mr Malhi, a community pharmacist with an interest in infant nutrition.

In the video below, by baby product manufacturer Nutricia, Mr Malhi – director of Hill Top Pharmacy in Warley, the West Midlands – explains how he became the first port of call for local parents seeking information about infants and nutrition, and how this improved his sales of baby category products.
