Actavis UK has recalled a batch of its 500mg paracetamol tablets from wholesalers, pharmacies and clinics after discovering that "incorrect blister foil" had been used on the packs.
The MHRA said the incorrect blister foil "failed to meet the specification for child resistance".
The affected batch – number PL2328 – was first distributed on May 9 and the 30-tablet packs have an expiry date of January 2017.
