Manufacturer Aspire Pharma has launched a new treatment for dry skin conditions.

Hypobase Gel (isopropyl myristate 15%w/w / liquid paraffin 15%w/w gel), is an emollient designed to treat a range of conditions, such as eczema, contact dermatitis and psoriasis. 

The product, which launched this month, gives pharmacists an alternative option when dispensing a generic prescription for an isopropyl myristate gel, Aspire Pharma said.
