The fifth event will see the conference return to the Don Carlos Hotel in Marbella, Spain for June 12-13, where OpenRoom says it will “again collect the industry’s top community pharmacy groups and trusted suppliers for two days of supercharged networking”.

The new partnership with C+D will “bring together community pharmacy’s leading news source with its premier networking event”, OpenRoom added.

Event manager Jerome Legros said: “We’re really excited to be working with C+D on next year’s PharmacyForum.

“Long-established champions of the sector, they’ll be casting their all-knowing eye on guest lists and conference content – reinforcing our commitment to putting together the most productive two days possible for pharmacy groups and industry suppliers.”

C+D digital reporter Thomas Cox attended this year’s PharmacyForum, where he delivered a talk on the technological future of pharmacy, and spoke exclusively to Well’s Chris Ellett about the launch of the multiple’s “Eddie” subscription service.

OpenRoom said the 2019 event will be entitled “thrive” and will “explore a positive market outlook in which groups will not just service, but flourish”.

“A line-up of speakers is expected to be announced before the close of the year,” it added.
