Mr Stewart was handed his award by Grazia editor Hattie Brett, at a ceremony in London billed as “shining a light on the outstanding efforts and achievements of the rising stars in consumer magazines and business media”.

Mr Stewart’s entry highlighted the varied work he does at C+D, including launching a series of clinical podcasts, producing instructional videos for C+D’s readers, and organising and hosting three pharmacy careers evenings – all the while producing regular CPD and learning materials for community pharmacists.

C+D deputy editor Grace Lewis said Mr Stewart's win was “extremely well deserved”.

“As clinical editor and C+D’s resident pharmacist, Kris has become one of the most recognisable and influential figures in the sector, regularly helping to shape the debate and provide his expertise to the wider C+D team.

“He has consistently pushed the boundaries to produce new content for C+D’s readers, and continues to inspire the next generation of pharmacists by hosting C+D’s careers evenings.

“It was great to see Kris recognised alongside journalists from some of the biggest national magazine brands, and I have no doubt this award will inspire him to create many more exciting projects for the community pharmacy sector.”
