Earl Howe has called on pharmacists to prove that stock shortages are harming patients and C+D is going to help you do just that, through a range of reporting tools available on our website over the next two months.

Our interactive tool enables you to record every medicine shortage as it happens, which drug and supplier is involved and where in the country you are. You can also record what impact the shortage has had on your patients, to what extent they were harmed and the details of the incident.

C+D has also launched downloadable tools for you to print out and display in your pharmacy. There is a form that you can encourage your patients to complete when they are told that their medicine is out of stock. There is also a poster that you can hang in your pharmacy window to show you support our Sort Out Stocks campaign.

You have until October 12 to provide us with your evidence, return the paper forms to us and send us pictures of our campaign posters displayed in your pharmacy. C+D will then take your evidence to the government to help show the reality of the problem on the ground, for you and your patients, to urge it into action.
