Coming in the same month as the news that pharmacy employers are cutting back on sick pay and researchers are investigating the link between workload and dispensing errors, the C+D Salary Survey 2012 is setting out to uncover the full truth about pay rises, promotions, stress and job satisfaction. Last year's survey found that, although pharmacists reported a decrease in workplace pressures, the burden on the sector continued to affect patient care. And with more than 1,650 respondents to the survey, this prompted the Patients' Association to call on the government to reduce the bureaucracy burden on pharmacy. "We need as many C+D readers as possible to take part in the salary survey 2012 to make it as comprehensive and powerful a resource as it can be," said C+D deputy editor Jennifer Richardson. |
The results of the C+D Salary Survey 2012 will be published in C+D and online at chemistanddruggist. co.uk/salary-survey this summer.
