Clinova adds national press to £1m hydration tablet campaign

Manufacturer Clinova has added newspaper adverts to its £1 million TV campaign to promote its ORS hydration tablets.

The adverts would appear in national newspapers including the Daily Mail, The Times and The Sun in March and April, Clinova said. These will run alongside the TV adverts, which first appeared on ITV, Sky Sports and Channel 4 in January.

Clinova is promoting the ORS oral hydration tablets as a “practical solution for electrolyte-based hydration” that can be used by families in a “wide array” of situations, including after sport, travel and in hot climates.

The soluble tablets contained a “scientifically balanced” formula of electrolytes, glucose and minerals for “optimal hydration”, Clinova said. They were gluten- and lactose-free and suitable for vegetarians, it added.

The tablets are available in lemon, strawberry and blackcurrant flavours and retail at £4.99 for a pack of 12 tablets and £6.99 for 24 tablets.
