Colomycin gastrointestinal tablets out of stock
Product Production problems with the antibiotic's active ingredient means it will not be available until the summer
Colomycin tablets 1.5MU x 50 are out of stock, manufacturer Forest Laboratories has announced, because of a production problem with the drug's active ingredient colistimethate sodium. The antibiotic, which is used to treat gastrointestinal infections, should be available again by the summer, it said last week (January 7).
