Thornton & Ross kick off Combogesic TV campaign
Thornton & Ross have launched a new TV advertising campaign for Combogesic, an analgesic tablet combining paracetamol and ibuprofen.
The campaign, which hit screens on March 20, is designed to “buck the trend”, of adverts that are often “clinical in tone or show stereotyped sufferers”, the manufacturer said.
Comedy actress Sally Phillips delivers the voiceover, which gives it an “energetic and lively tone”, Thornton & Ross said.
The TV advert is part of a multimillion pound campaign running throughout 2017, which aims to introduce Combogesic as an alternative for those wanting to “step up” their pain relief, the manufacturer said.
Leanne Brook, senior brand manager at Thornton & Ross, said it hopes the advert is “memorable” and brings to life the benefits and application of the product.
A pack of 16 Combogesic tablets retails at £3.99, while 32 retail at £6.49.
