Juvela has added gluten-free crackers to its range of specialist foods for coeliacs.

Juvela Gluten-free Crackers became available through wholesalers this month in boxes of 125g - counting as one unit value in the prescribing guidelines for gluten-free foods.

"Responding to customers' comments, we have developed this cracker to replicate traditional crackers as closely as possible in both taste and texture, providing coeliacs with a portable snack option when out and about," said Claire Monks, Juvela marketing manager.

A box of crackers has a trade price of £1.81.
