The C+D Awards annually celebrate the best within community pharmacy, honouring achievements and celebrating accomplishments by teams, businesses and individuals.

The 14 awards categories for 2020 include returning favourites Community Pharmacist of the Year, Manager of the Year and Pharmacy Staff Member of the Year.

They also comprises the Above and Beyond Award, celebrating pharmacists and pharmacy staff members who have gone the extra mile for their patients and the sector, and the Pre-registration Graduate of the Year Award – among others.

This year’s awards also include three brand new categories: the Primary Care Partnership Award; the Business Innovation Award; and the Public Health Champion of the Year Award.

The Primary Care Partnership Award gives entrants an opportunity to highlight the strong primary care partnerships they have established, while the Business Innovation Award draws attention to creative ideas that help elevate the business and take it to the next level.

The Public Health Champion category, meanwhile, targets members of the community pharmacy sector who feel they have identified a local health need and helped make a difference to the lives of patients in their area.

This year’s C+D Awards will take place at the InterContinental O2 Hotel London on Thursday, May 21.
