Doublebase Gel is now available in a larger 1kg size pack and is “ideal for patients who require large amounts of an emollient each month”, the manufacturer said.

The 1kg pack dispenses up to 4g per full pump, “making it easy for patients to apply over large areas and follow recommended treatment advice”, it added.

According to Dermal, Doublebase Gel is a “proven” and “effective” moisturiser, and is available to prescribe and dispense throughout the UK.

A 1kg pack of Doublebase Gel retails at £19.76, while the NHS trade price is £10.98.
