Epanutin out of stock for second time in a month
Anti-epileptic medicine has been hit by manufacturing problems, but supply is expected to resume on May 8
Epanutin (phenytoin) 30mg/5ml oral suspension is out of stock because of manufacturing problems, Pfizer has announced.
The anti-epileptic drug – which Pfizer has declared out of stock twice in the past five weeks – is expected to be available again from May 8*, the manufacturer said today (April 24).

*Pfizer told C+D on April 29 that they expect the drug to be back in stock from April 30.
