Essex pharmacy staff threatened with screwdriver
Two suspects told a staff member at Vision Pharmacy in Grays to empty his pockets, say Essex Police
Police have released CCTV images of robbers who threatened staff at an Essex pharmacy with a screwdriver.
Two men entered Vision Pharmacy in Grays shortly before 6:50pm on January 17, Essex Police said on Wednesday (January 20). One of the men threatened a member of staff and took a small amount of money from the till.
The robbers then told the victim to “empty his pockets”, and were handed some more cash before both suspects fled the shop into nearby Whitmore Avenue, police said.
The man with the screwdriver is described as white and in his early 20s. He wore grey jogging bottoms, a dark blue jacket and a grey hooded top with the hood up, police said.
The second man wore a blue hooded top displaying three lines of white writing on the front and the hood up. He had black trousers and black gloves, police said.
No one was injured in the incident, police stressed.
