Four men have been arrested in connection with the burglary of a Derbyshire Lloydspharmacy. Mark Levand, 44, of Sheffield Road, Chesterfield was charged with burglary after the Lloydspharmacy and an adjoining building on his road were broken into at about 6:35am on Wednesday (September 10), Derbyshire Police said. Three other men aged between 41 and 44 were arrested for their alleged involvement and released on bail pending further enquiries, police said. Lloydspharmacy said a small window was damaged and a "large quantity of products" including medicines and perfumes were taken during the incident. The pharmacy reopened at 2pm on the same day and the team was "grateful to local customers for their support", Lloydspharmacy told C+D. No customers had been present at the time of the break-in and nobody had been hurt, it said. The multiple was reviewing security at the branch and investing in "further measures to prevent repeat attacks", it added. Derbyshire Police urged witnesses or anybody with information regarding the incident to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 105 of September 10.
