GSK highlights its Voltarol range during National Arthritis Week
GlaxoSmithKline's (GSK) Voltarol pain relief range can "provide relief to patients with joint pain", the manufacturer has said, as the UK marks National Arthritis Week.
The range includes medicated gels and plasters and a non-medicated heat patch, which also “provide relief for other types of body pain, including muscle and neck pain”, GSK said.
Voltarol Osteoarthritis Joint Pain Relief 1.16% gel contains the active ingredient diclofenac diethylammonium, which is also present in GSK’s Voltarol 12 Hour Joint Pain Relief 2.32% gel, the manufacturer explained.
Voltarol 140mg medicated plasters contain the active ingredient diclofenac sodium, it added.
GSK’s director of scientific affairs for consumer healthcare Soha Dattani said National Arthritis Week – which runs from October 7-13 – “puts a spotlight on this growing condition, which affects millions of people across the UK and impacts their everyday lives”.
