Hedrin launches loosening lotion to tackle stubborn eggs
Thornton & Ross has expanded its Hedrin headlice range with a new lotion targeted at dead eggs.
Hedrin Stubborn Egg Loosening Lotion is designed to fill a “major gap” in the market by acting as an “ideal post-treatment option” for parents to use on children with nits, the manufacturer said.
“Nits are an issue for parents as they are difficult to remove [once] they have bonded with the hair,” Thornton & Ross said. “In addition, they are sometimes confused with an active infestation.”
The fragrance-free lotion works by chemically releasing the bond between the egg and the hair, lifting the egg and enabling it to “slide off effortlessly”,
it added.
Hedrin Stubborn Egg Removal Kit – which includes the lotion and a comb – retails for £7.49.
