Industrial pharmacist added to Thursday's careers event in Bradford
An industrial pharmacist with experience in community and hospital pharmacy settings has been added to the lineup of speakers at C+D’s free careers event in Bradford on Thursday.
Pharmacists at all stages of their professional journey are invited to hear from an array of speakers from across the spectrum of pharmacy sectors at Bradford University on the evening of September 27.
Sue Kilby, chair of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s (RPS) Industrial Pharmacists Forum, was announced today as an additional speaker for the event.
Ms Kilby has over 30 years’ experience in healthcare, holding roles in marketing, sales and policy in both hospital and community pharmacy settings.
She has also worked for both global and start-up companies in the industrial pharmacy sector and launched her own consultancy business in 2007.
All eight of the speakers – including RPS English pharmacy board member Dr Mahendra Patel, RPS president Ash Soni, GP pharmacist Sue Alldred and Boots head of pharmacy experience at Boots Shammi Khosla – will share their experiences and advice, both on stage and while networking over complimentary food and drinks.
The event will take place in the Norcroft Conference Centre of the University of Bradford from 6.30-9.30pm.
