Lloydspharmacy has launched an advertising campaign for its online doctor service, promoting its treatment of men's health problems.
Lloydspharmacy's campaign focuses on the treatment of erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation. The advertising will appear in men's washrooms and a selection of national press titles including FHM and The Guardian.
Lloydspharmacy hopes men will use the online doctor service to access treatment for potentially embarrassing conditions. Patients can either pick up medication from their local pharmacy or have it delivered to their home.
"Men are not great at going to see their doctor at the best of times, so when it comes to problems seen as embarrassing, they're even more unlikely to make the visit," said Lloydspharmacy director of marketing Claire Bayliss.
"This is where the Lloydspharmacy online doctor fits perfectly. It offers men a place to come for a quick and discreet solution from a team of fully qualified doctors, all from the privacy of their own home."
TDA, the marketing agency that devised the campaign, echoed the comments, saying it hoped the advertising would encourage more men to get the treatments they had been too embarrassed to ask about before.
The Lloydspharmacy online doctor service operates between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday at www.lloydspharmacy.com/doctor.com
