First pregabalin tablets in UK launched by Neuraxpharm

Sponsored

Pregabalin is available in tablet form for the first time in the UK following its release by manufacturer Neuraxpharm.

Launched on May 14, the tablets can be split into two – making it easier to adjust dosage sizes than with capsules.

The product is free from animal-derived products such as gelatin and lactose so can be taken by vegans and vegetarians, Neuraxpharm said.

The drug tariff prices for the tablets at the time of writing are:

  • One 56-tablet pack of pregabalin 25 mg: £3.99
  • One 84-tablet pack of pregabalin 50 mg: £3.99
  • One 56-tablet pack of pregabalin 75 mg: £4.79
  • One 84-tablet pack of pregabalin 100 mg: £5.59
  • One 56-tablet pack of pregabalin 150 mg: £5.59
  • One 84-tablet pack of pregabalin 200 mg: £7.19
  • One 56-tablet pack of pregabalin 225 mg: £6.39
